Premier FM, Dublin - September to December 2004. This is the sound desk - a Soundtech Series A. The two white sliders to the left of the mixer were for CD One and CD Two. I could never see the logic of this as it was sometimes very difficult to know which CD player was 'live on-air'. A more sensible way would be to place the slider for CD One to the left of the mixer and CD Two to the right of the mixer. I suggested this, but of course my suggestion was turned down as "impractical".

The paper on the mixer contained the running order of songs for my "Classic Chart Countdown" show. The Nokia phone on the right was used to receive the many text messages. Imagine trying to read out a request (or a series of requests) from a mobile phone!
